My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Copper
Nose: Dried figs, raisins, dark chocolate, hints of tobacco and nutmeg.
Palate: A tipsy cocktail of raisins, grapes and prunes on dark chocolate ice cream served with a strong espresso.
Finish: Very long, fruity and slightly dry.
Overall: This is not just a sherried whisky, this is a sherry whisky. I feel almost tempted to describe it as a 46% ABV oloroso but the whisky character is fully intact nonetheless.
