My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Dark amber
Nose: Butterscotch, wood polish, dried apricots, orange zest, vanilla, cinnamon.
Palate: Apricots, banana, pineapple, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, hints of pepper.
Finish: Very long, fruity and slightly spicy.
Overall: The nose is almost a bit solventy, but on the palate there is a sweet fruity explosion. It might be difficult if not impossible to find a better representative of the Irish potstill style.
